We’ll pick you up anywhere within the City of Bacolod or at the airport in New Bacolod-Silay Airport with an additional fee of 500. Ideal start time is between 8:30am to 1:00 pm but we can adjust the tour based on the time of your arrival.
Capitol Lagoon is a provincial park located in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, in the Philippines. One of the features of the park is matching sculptures depicting a woman standing alongside a water buffalo and a man pulling another water buffalo. These sculptures are located at the northern and southern ends of the lagoon. These figures were executed by Italian sculptor Francesco Riccardo Monti who also did the sculptures of the Metropolitan Manila Theater and the University of the Philippines – Visayas Iloilo campus. Guillermo Tolentino also contributed as a sculptor of the figures.
The museum is the first in its kind to not house precious archaeological artifacts but rather was designed to display Negrense lifestyle and society, which includes old furnishings and loaned items from ancestral houses.

Famously known as the “Taj Majal” of Negros, this is the ancestral mansion of the sugar baron Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson built on a 440-hectare sugar plantation in Talisay, City Negros Occidental in the early 1900s in memory of his Portuguese wife Maria Braga Lacson, who died during the birth of their 11th child. During WWII, Filipino guerillas burned it down to prevent the invading of the Japanese forces and be used as a military office.
